Centro Studi Serenity

The Centro Studi Serenity (CSS) research center was founded to guarantee better information on wellness and to offer concrete, innovative, functional solutions for patients. Collecting works and requests arriving from qualified outside areas and developing innovative methods and technologies are just some of the activities the CSS performs on a daily basis — its commitment renewed day in and day out to ensure that the Serenity staff always has up-to-date information and to stimulate ongoing improvement. The CSS also uses the collaboration of Research Agencies, Institutions and Universities to develop and delve in greater depth into specific, innovative scientific topics.


For medical, scientific and behavioral consultations, the CSS uses numerous groups of medical specialists including:

• Urologists-Andrologists
• Psychologists
• Dermatologists
• Physiatrists
• Gynecologists
 
Centro Studi Serenity also uses a team of 70 professional nurses, all with specific backgrounds, enhanced and kept up to date by fine-tuned training given periodically by the Center. The team provides consultations for both Public Agencies (local health services) and at private Nursing Homes. In addition, it offers precious feedback for research, consolidating all the information accrued through its daily contact with more than 300,000 users.
Centro Studi has relations with various Institutions, Universities, Federations and Associations for the joint development of specific study topics. These include: Assobiomedica, Tribunale del Malato (the Italian Patient's Court), Federazione Italiana Incontinenti (FINCO - the Italian federation of incontinent patients), Gruppo di Ricerca Geriatrico (GRG - a geriatric research group), Centro Studi per le cure domiciliari (a center for home care) and Associazione Infermieristica per lo Studio delle Lesioni Cutanee (AILSLeC - an Italian Association of nurses who study skin lesions).
As regards customer/consumer relations, the Centro Studi Serenity uses the CRM area of Artsana. The CRM systems are an extended corporate loop that opens the company to the outside world, establishing dialogue with suppliers (Supply Chain Management) on the one hand and customers and final users on the other. This gives us precious information that we can then use to improve the products and services, helping us understand the customer's real needs.
Thanks to the ingenious positioning of the R&D office at the production site, the preparation, professionalism and ongoing education of our Research and Development team meld with the competence of the Engineering group. And this, in turn, optimizes production processes and product quality. The goal of R&D is to find the most appropriate technical and qualitative solutions, creating instruments able to improve the daily life of the users and upgrade the efficiency and effectiveness of the processes.
As far as possible, Centro Studi Serenity wants to be a source of information and data for the final customer. To offer complete, avant-garde services, a specific system has been created to study solutions and post-sale services monitoring systems. Innovative, avant-garde solutions incorporate new technologies such as on-line reporting, internet/extranet connections, specialized call centers.
Corporate Marketing is one of Centro Studi's special partners. Given their daily contact with the customer and their in-depth knowledge of the business, Marketing is a constant source of information on the product, on the underlying services and on market trends. Such information plays a strategic role in the Center's development of solutions and in transforming them into new areas of business.
Centro Studi Serenity also uses the Data Processing Center (DPC), an internal Artsana structure which applies avant-garde I.T. technologies and can develop fine-tuned, computerized solutions to resolve the particular problems of each individual customer.
To improve the quality of life for our final users, and also to steadily upgrade the work of our professional users, the Centro Studi Serenity works in the areas of both product analysis and services. To guarantee utmost safety in use and to ensure a functional product, the Center cooperates with specialized centers, analysis laboratories and certifying bodies and performs ongoing quality control.
The Centro Studi Serenity trains its own nursing personnel and also provides training for nurses at public and private facilities; it also organizes training courses at professional institutions and schools for social workers. Moreover, it promotes ECM-accredited courses for Doctors, Pharmacists and professionals in general, as well as technical-practical courses on the products, their correct use and on service management processes. The course management is handled by medical-scientific consultants and by parties who standing out in their own areas of competence.
The Center also offers its cooperation to all agencies and institutions working in areas related to its own mission. This means those institutions and agencies that provide education, that work in research and even clinical practice, with particular emphasis on legislative, operative and promotional topics.
The Center also plays a primary role in defining the protocols, clinical tests and laboratory testing. Furthermore, it uses the services of Institutions and research groups to work up the necessary scientific documentation. The Center also acts as a go-between for medical-scientific demands arising directly from consumer requests and needs.
Centro Studi Serenity also performs quali-quantitative research of a socio-demographic, economic nature and in general areas regarding wellness. Such research studies the evolution of macro-phenomena in society to identify the needs as they arise and to suggest the most qualified responses.
Finally, Centro Studi Serenity promotes the spread of information through such qualified instruments as manuals, guides, publications, seminars and dedicated sections on its website, each specific for a given target. At the same time, it has taken on the task of increasing awareness of the problems inherent to the "third and forth ages", trying to reach the broadest base possible and sensitize them to this problem.
